    Dr. Liu was a visiting scholar at MIT Sloan School of Management, and he was teaching and doing research at the Paul Merage School of Business of the University of California. He serves as a reviewer for premier academic journals such as Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, and Decision Analysis. He also serves as a reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong. Over the years, he has provided consulting and training services to a large number of enterprises such as Dell, Apple, Amazon, SAIC, Cisco, Honeywell, Esquel and Nike.
