The CNSB team participated in the 2026 Annual Decarbonisation Scientific Symposium on 20 October 2026 and held its Annual Programme Assessment Committee (PAC) Meeting on 23 October 2026 at CREATE Tower, Singapore.

During the symposium, Prof Julius delivered an oral presentation titled “Circularising the Bioeconomy through Synthetic Biology”, highlighting the potential of synthetic biology in advancing sustainable biomanufacturing. Two CNSB Research Fellows also showcased their research through poster presentations. In addition, the CNSB team hosted laboratory tours, offering participants insights into ongoing research on CO₂ bioconversion and photobioreactor technologies.

At the PAC Meeting, the CNSB team presented its latest research progress, key scientific breakthroughs, and achievements across the four research tracks. The meeting provided an opportunity for PAC members to review the programme's progress and offer valuable feedback on future research directions.

Both events provided valuable platforms for scientific exchange, collaboration, and advancing CNSB's efforts in sustainable CO₂ utilisation and biomanufacturing.
