Dr. Xi Junfang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, specializing in International Economics and Trade. She currently serves as Vice Dean of SJTU-APGI, overseeing academic affairs and leading strategic initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region as Chief Representative of Antai College.
Since joining Antai in 1997, Dr. Xi has held a variety of significant roles, including Program Director for the Integrated MBA and the SJTU-USC Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) programs, where she co-taught the Global Business Module. Dr. Xi has a longstanding commitment to international collaboration, demonstrated through her roles as a visiting scholar at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2001 and the University of Southern California (USC) in 2010. From 2013 to 2019, she served as Dean of the Confucius Institute at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, where she taught “Chinese Business Management” and “Global Business Practices” as a guest professor at UNSW Business School and contributed as an adjunct researcher at the CIBEL Center in UNSW Law.

Pharmaceutical Group and established the Yangtze River Academy, enhancing the
group’s educational impact.
