On 5 November, the welcome ceremony cum orientation for the incoming batch of MBA students was held online. Director for Antai Asia-Pacific Center, SJTU-APGI, Dr. Albert Tan, welcomed the students to the MBA program; while Wendy, the director for the MBA program from SJTU, introduced herself and how she will assist the students for the program. 

The students were given a brief introduction to the university, the school and the MBA program. They were also briefed on the program structure, modules and assessments, dissertation, academic integrity, as well as administrative matters such as class discipline, attendance requirements, and the electronic system for students. After that, the students got to know each other through an interactive session. They also formed the temporary class committee which comprises the class monitor, vice-monitor, treasurer, and delegate of study.
